About the Review

The Aurelian Review is an independent publication on the economy, money and markets, written from Abu Dhabi by Zoran Ninic, CFA.

It follows the stories that move the economy as they happen: central bank decisions, policy changes, market shifts and the trends behind them. Alongside that analysis it publishes deeper studies, and guides that explain the ideas behind the headlines for readers who do not work in finance. Every analysis follows the same five steps: context, framework, evidence, interpretation and implication.

The seal carries the house rules. Sine ira et studio, without anger or partiality: the evidence comes first and the conclusion follows it. Ad fontes, back to the sources: every figure is named under its chart, so readers can check the work.
